Martha Bryson, has been an HR practitioner for over 25 years. She has her Master’s in Legal Studies, SHRM- SCP and SPHR certifications. She also holds the SHRM Specialty Credential for People Analytics. Her career has been in hospitality, entertainment, and healthcare. As the Director of Staff Services for Hope Healthcare, she oversees those HR functions that employees interact with once they are hired such as insurance, retirement, leave of absence/ADA, worker’s comp programs and the organization’s Occupational Health Department. Marty, as she is known to those around her, is also the HR Mentor for 25 department managers providing guidance on employment relations and performance management. 

Active in her local chapter, Marty served in numerous roles including president in 2006. She was awarded the HRMA of Southwest Florida Human Resources Award of Excellence in 2003 and the District 8 Lifetime Achievement Award in May of 2019. Marty has served the HR Florida State Council in a variety of roles. 2021 will be her 9th year on the Executive Committee.

• How to Deliver a Performance Discussion using the BEER and BET methods of feedback
